Epic adventure at Yosemite National Park

I had an INCREDIBLE time exploring the breathtaking Yosemite National Park in California and I can’t wait to share my journey with you! Watch the full video on YouTube here. Despite being a bit tired from running a half marathon the day before (yeah, I’m a little crazy like that), I couldn’t resist the call of the wild and set out to conquer the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls.

Let me tell you, the beginning of the trail was no joke - a steep incline that had me questioning my life choices. But as I pushed on, the stunning beauty of the park revealed itself. The sound of rushing water grew louder with each step, and I knew I was in for a treat.

Of course, I left my rain jacket in the car the one time I actually needed it. BIG mistake! As I approached Vernal Falls, I was met with a torrential downpour of mist that left me completely drenched. But hey, it’s all part of the adventure, right?

The real challenge came when I decided to hike to the top of the falls. The stairs seemed endless, and my legs were screaming for mercy. But the view from the top? ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. The rainbow shimmering in the mist was a sight I’ll never forget.

After conquering Vernal Falls, I decided to take on the Lower Yosemite Falls Trail - a more laid-back, but equally beautiful hike. The towering trees and serene atmosphere were the perfect way to wrap up my day in the park.

One thing’s for sure - a single day in Yosemite is NOT enough. This park is MASSIVE, and there’s so much more to explore. I’ll definitely be back to discover more hidden gems and challenge myself on new trails.

If you’re planning a trip to Yosemite, here are a few tips:

  1. Don’t forget your rain gear (learn from my mistakes!)
