5 Places to Hike in Oklahoma
Turner Falls
Turner Falls is considered one of the tallest waterfall in Oklahoma. Turner Falls is located about 2.5 hours from Dallas, TX. Take a short hike up for a view of the falls above or a short walk for a close-up view of the falls.
Wichita Mountains
The Wichita Mountains have Zion National Park vibes. Hike along the Narrows Trail (2.7 Miles) for beautiful views. There’s so much you can do here: rock-climbing, drive/hike up to Mount Scott, go for a hike, go camping and much more.
Mount Scott
Mount Scott is a mountain located inside the Wichita Mountains (elevation 2464 feet). You can drive up the mountain or hike up to the top. The drive up is beautiful.
Broken Bow Lake
Plenty of water activity options here at Broken Bow Lake. This is right near Beaver’s Bend State Park. There are kayak rentals available for purchase to rent during the open season.
Beavers Bend State Park
Take a beautiful hike at Beavers Bend State Park, located in southeast Oklahoma along Broken Bow Lake. I hiked the Cedar Bluff Nature Trail (0.9 Miles) and the Friends Trail Loop (1.5 Miles). Both have easy access and are short and sweet.
